Asking For Self, Male 40, Dubai, UAE
Got my CT scan done recently, as per Urologist there is a stone in kidney which can only be removed by laser surgery. is there any other method to remove stone by medication or something
lithotripsy is an option.
size and location of stone is important
please consult a urologist for different options.
stone treatment can be done by lithotripsy (laser), minimal invasive procedures (percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy etc)or open surgery.
Domain of a urologist, make an appointment. Lithotripsy appears more appropriate in this case, however the attending doctor has other considerations as well.
you can try lithotripsy
The stone is harder as documented by the HU-1500 ? I believe Medicines alone wouldn’t work? ESWL is an effective and safe procedure widely practiced these days.
