Waslam Human memory is not affected by COVID. There are other factors which give you an impression that your memory is gone. Your memory is quite okay and intact. Nothing happened to it. It is you perceiving about memory loss. Use Relaxation techniques, Mindfulness based stress reduction and decrease number of activities you do every day. For in depth analysis, you need consultation. This can be solved in a couple of sessions. Good luck

Hi
Many negative experiences may lead to unexpected consequences. Having Covid is almost a traumatic experience. Living in a pandemic is something we have all been in together.
However, everyone's responses differ. Suppressing unpleasant memories is a defense done subconsciously (without the awareness).
Though there maybe other factors adding to this response aswell.
Kindly book an appointment so we may further look into it.
Take care :)
w.salam
covid and memory loss are 2 different things both are not connected to each other. memory loss is a broad term. if you forget about the things you place few minutes before then its a normal thing we are actually remain too much busy in our life and forget to concentrate. memory loss is something you forget a specific part of your life. i am sure that you are not experiencing it. but if it is related to early or middle life memory loss then you need a psychologist.
Assqlamalikum . Given sufferring from covid 19 and memory loss are two different dimensions . what you might be refferring to as memory loss may simply be forgetting to perform chores associated with daily life or work life . This simply may be associated with anxiety or intense worry of experiencing a life threatening situation and difficulty in managing the emotional response associated with it .
i would recommend to try focusing on the task in hand or simply bring in your attention of the things you are doing such as when you are having tea notice its color , the smell or the taste of it . Other than that try to ground yourself as to notice your surroinding and the voices around it .
if the situation prolongates do consult a psychologist .
There is no linkage between the two things. I have many therapies that will be helpful for you under your situation. Book an appointment with me through Marham for furthur details.
