i am taking sertraline since 2 months and 5 days.i took 100 mg for 1 month and 22 days then increased to 150 mg in 5 days and now increased to 200 mg from 5 days by as told by my psychiatrist. But my ocd isnt improved . I have tried all SSRI accept lexapro. Also i have tried to augment all antipsychotic but stopped due to too much side effects. I am loosing hope. Plzz advice me what should i do now
Give sertraline 200 mg another two weeks
psychotherapy is must for OCD along with meds

Regarding your query:
You can do a few things now:
A. Augment the medications with psychotherapy
B. Continue with Sertraline at 200 mg for next 4-6 weeks (for getting the maximum response).
C. If this doesn't work for you, we can augment or switch to medications from other groups like Tricyclic antidepressant, atypical antidepressants etc. with proven efficacy to ameliorate OCD.
