Level is high for premature baby. Better to get him checked as he may need admission for phototherapy

It usually depends on the type of jaundice. Physiological jaundice decreases rapidly in a day or two under phototherapy. The stay in hospital would depend on the next bilirubin reading

Dear Sir, my son has been discharged from hospital after phototherapy (new bilirubin level 6) two days ago, doctor prescribed 1.5ml of debritone elixir two times a day and further sunlight therapy. Is it safe to give debritone to newborn child?
