Asking for Mother, Male, 1 years old, Gujranwala
My son is 8 months old. He fell from bed on 14 march. No other head injury symptoms except vomit.
We got him admitted in hospital for 4 days and brought him home last friday. But till now he vomits 1' 2 times a day. I am so much worried for him. Cant visit doc in this situation.
Please guide me about his diet. I am giving him 2' 3 ounce milk on demand as he cant tolerate more ounces. Please guide me can i give him solid food? Which solid food is good for him? Can i give him oats porridge as he really likes it. And what about rice cerelac ?
Give Syp Metomide 1TSF THREE TIMES HALF HOUR BEFORE MEALS. YES SEMISOLID SHOULD BE GIVEN. IF HE REMAINS ACTIVE NO PROBLEM BUT IF LETHARGIC OR IRRITABLE AND VOMITING DOESNT STOP CONSUL A PEDIATRIC NEUROLOGIST
give him syrup.paracetamol 4 ml po 8 hourly.
if he is having runny nose or cough give him steam inhalation 8 hourly
you can give him milk on demand and in solid food you can give egg, porridge, mashed potatoes, yoghurt mashed bananas etc
consult once again if vomiting persists
Nothing to worry give him semi solid food reduce milk intake
Need to ask a general surgeon plz
