My daughter is 3 yrs old.. she is having fever from yesterday.. fever is 101.. m giving her panadol but har 2 ghntay main fever horha hai.. m doing sponging.. ND after 3.5 hrs giving her panadol 6.5 ml.. no cough no flu nother is there just fever.. what is the reason.. her body and head is very hot.. can I give dollar D's or brufen to control her fever..if yes den which brufen or dollar ds.. how much dose? And after how many hours..PLz PL guide me
If there is no discomfort in passing urine either, it could be some viral infection. You may give her Suspension Brufen 100mg/5ml; 5 mls 4 hours after Suspension Calpol 120mg/5ml; 7.5 mls, if the fever is still 100.4 F. You may alternate these two fever medicines every 4 hours so that the child does not receive more than 3 doses each in 24 hours. If any other symptoms appear you may contact for further advice.

you can give Brufen and Panadol alternatively, Give Brufen 5ml 6 hourly and Panadol 7ml 4 hourly .
meanwhile if she develops cough, flu , vomiting, loose stools, or any other symptoms ask again
Fever is settledown wt panadol temporarily and it is not treatment Needs some diagnostic test like MP and CBC pl upload report and then will see
