Talk to Pediatrician on Child Vaccination (18 Months Old)

person-avatar

Asking for Other, Female, 1.5 years old, Rawalpindi

From where can I get my 18 months old daughter vaccination done for free in Rawalpindi? I have attached the vaccination schedule which mentions the following vaccines on 18 months of age: DTaP, OPV, HIB Hepatitis A.

They cost almost 6 thousand from CMH

Although at any good pharmacy they can decipher the the abbreviations on your vaccination card and provide you the vaccines listed against 18 months, I am writing down their names for you:
DTaP is Diphtheria, Tetanus and acellular Pertussis vaccine marketed as Infanrix. I recommend buying Kinrix, instead, which also contains injectable Polio vaccine and obviates the need to buy multiple dose container of OPV or Oral Polio Vaccine.
Hib is Haemophilus influenzae type b vaccine, marketed as Hiberix.
These vaccines are marketed by SmithKlineGlaxo but may be available with other trade names from different companies.
Buy and transport these vaccines on an ice pack and store in a fridge and NOT a freezer, before giving to the child.
