I think it is due to cold weather now. . At the moment guve him Syp Zyrtec 5ml once daily for 3 to 5 days.
if improved its well but if symptoms persists or voice remains hoarse then you have to book an appointment for propee evaluation.
This seems allergic cough or hyper reactive airway disease..... Its mostly inherited so dont worry for this and dont treat it aggressively.... with change of weather will settle itself.....
Tablet Mytika 05mg one tablet daily for 2 months
Syrup pulmitec 5ml twice a day for one week
Syrup desora 05ml once a day for two weeks
Warm green tea
Warm honey water....
