My son who is two and half years old does not speak yet, although physically he is active and can listen but rarely keep eye contact when we try to talk him. I fear it may be autism. Kindly advise.

I think your child needs medical assessment first and probably hearing test too. So get him checked by Paeds Neurphysician please.
