If you can live with a bump at shoulder then no need for surgery as you should probably gain full function of shoulder and arm in a couple of months. If you have cosmetic concerns then must have the surgery done very soon as it is already 4 weeks and further delay means difficulty in surgery and higher risk of complications. Good luck!
