Aoa Dr diagnosed me with calcium deposit in backside of heel after xray... also arthritis start Can i still take calcium supplements or food rich in calcium? Like milk Also medicine for this? Why is calicium depositing and how can it b stopped? See pic for reference TIA
Please firstly get your calcium and vit D3 levels checked. It will depend on the blood results
Well do your calcium and vit. D levels , if deficient than you can take vit . D and calcium supplements. If no deficiency than consume a balance healthy diet regularly . For your heel pain , loose weight, do stretching exercises regularly ( take help of physiotherapist) if still it bothers you, than proceed for surgery.

Vit D and calcium is over prescribed medicine in pakistan. Every primary care physician and even by self medication people used to take it.
Any one should be evaluated first by qualified concerned Specialist.
Regarding this case, Post hell pain, called Haglund deformity or bony bump usually caused by uric acid, any systemic illness like Diabetes etc or any trauma or micro trauma by repetitive abnormal foot movement or shoe ware.
Pls het xray foot AP, Lateral view,
And uric acid / Blood sugar levels.

Do activity modification, shoe wear modification,
Suitable analgesia
And come up with tests
