Talk to Gynecologist on Type Of Pcos

Hi, i have pcos since 2016, my only symptoms were irregular/prolonged cycles every month (38/40/42 days). I was told to get an lh/fsh test and ultrasound done to rule it and once diagnosed my dr gave my piozer 15 mg (pioglitazone) which is an insulin sensitiser but without ever getting insulin tests done however the cycles did get better and regular with it. Later on in 2018 i was also given glucophage 250 mg as the cycles started messing up. I’m still following the same treatment but now I’ve gotten married and want to conceive so I’d like to start the treatment from zero again as i want to know of all the tests required to rule out pcos and which type of pcos is this. Can any dr pls advise? I now also want to change my dr so should i go to an endocrinologist or gynaecologist? My current dr is an endocrinologist. Pls help thankyou.
