Asking For Mother, Female 62, Lahore
To surgical consultant in gynaecologic oncology) my mother is diagnosed with an ovarian cancer last month then I decided to go to SKMCH&RC for treatment after all they decided to perform a surgery but unfortunately all operations is cancelled due to covid19 I have lot concerned about the situation and I'm afraid if treatment delayed the patient suffered a irreparable loss please be advice what to do in this situation please see all scans as attachment I also want the documents should be confidential
actually she is elderly and after surgery no one knows what would be outcome hpw do she recover and may need icu admission so more chances she can awuire corona that can be more worse try to wait few days or ask them if ultrasound guidrd biopsy can done so naturr of tumour confirm
She needs to be operated upon ASAP ultrasound guided biopsy is not recommended as it will effect the staging of tumour , she will require ICU admission post operatively but As current Corona situation is dangerous it is better to follow her gynaecologist advise .
Don't worry just start she will be better day and day and inshaAllah she will safe from surgery
