Hello.. She needs to avoid red meat, pulses and green vegetables.. Drink plenty of water.. Also she can take Tab Zyloric 100mg once a day after a meal only if she has no known allergy to this drug..
also if she develops severe diarrhea, dizziness, skin rash or vomiting, then immediately stop the medicine.. Better to lower it with diet
Well Gouric is the second line treatment, if someone cannot take/tolerate Zyloric..

Actually Febuxostat (gouric) is usually given in patients who have developed Gout because of high urate levels..
