Asking For Father, Male 58, Karachi
my Father is experiencing retching for the 3 4 days what could be the probable cause. k/c of hypertension & diabetes that are under control. no other symptoms.
Is it etching?
And in what area??

Is it associated with burning sensation in center of chest or nausea or difficulty breathing or chest/abdominal pain, constipation? When does it occur during the day? Does it occur more after meals? What seems to be exacerbating the retching? & what seems to relieve it? Does he smoke? When was the last time his blood pressure and blood sugar were checked?
You should get online consultation and will discuss patient and symptoms in detail
itching in which part of body? specially in hands ,fingers and genitals

When ws the last time u had tests?and cn u share the reports?
Retching is a sign of gastric and oesophageal irritation mainly. But if he has an IHD along with DM and Hypertension, considering his age, please get him investigated for both. ECG and Barium swallow (Xray) may be advised.
For Gastric irritation Gaviscon 2 Tbsf thrice daily and Dexxoo 30mg 1 caps 12 hrly for 5 days..
Best to consult a physician nearby.
Check his Urea and creatinine levels as he is hypertensive and diabetic,so we need to have kidney functions assessment
