Asking for Husband, Male, 28 years old, Peshawar
AOA my prob is that my husband is azoospermic (non obstructive type). His hormones are normal..we have done biospy (TESA) but no sperm were found. He has also completed 6 months course of Femara but still no improvemnt in count. Dr has advised us to go for Microtese procedure but before that he asked us to do y chromosome microdeletion test to make sure that there is no genetic abnormility..It was an online session and unfortunately we have lost that record. Can any dr guide us which test is done for diagnosis of y chromosome microdeletion
PCR assay or Gel electrophoresis is used for chromosome microdeletion...
if it positive its call sertoli cell syndrome,,and it has no treatment. you will go for assistant reproduction.
please book an online appointment
