Asking For Self, Female 65, Islamabad
My mother has breathing problem since 09 days her SPO2 is ranging between 94 to 99 with 5 litre oxygen but sometimes it drops to 89 during any physical activity. She is PCR Negative, IL 6 Negative but X-ray showing inflammation or infiltration in right lower lobe particularly. Most of her blood tests are normal with around 300K platelets. She is patient of arthritis since 20 years and she had sweting and breathing problem since 2 months too.
I WANT TO KNOW whether we need to discuss with his physician dealing arthritis or simply carry on pulmo treatment. How long does it take to recover? any suggestion ll be welcomed thanks Aamir (PhD)
Meanwhile continue her Pulmo treatment . it will take around 2-3 weeks for complete recovery. Get Her D dimers and Ferritin checked
dear how is she now ?
does she have fever, difficulty in breathing or any other symptom?
for now keep her oxygen level same n keep a close check on her saturation levels.
plz share her x-ray here
ask her to avoid physical activity n take rest.
it LL take time in settlement.
firsr solve her pulmo issue when she ll recover inshaAllah we ll look into her arthritis issue
take care
stay home stay safe
