Asking for Husband, Male, 39 years old, Karachi
My husband is facing this issue for the last one month where his arms sometimes jerk more like a muscle spasm and his hand hurts too. It is usually while he is sleeping. Also, he cannot sleep for the last few days and doesn't want to sleep in AC. Usually goes out for fresh air but he is sleep-deprived and lethargic almost all the time. He wants to sleep literally all the time. I am really worried about him.

Hello how are you? Can you kindly confirm his age, weight, height? Any history of diabetes or hypertension? Secondly any family history of metabolic or auto immune disorders? It appears to primarily physiological myoclonus. However, do his thyroid function tests done and insulin resistance test done. Reach out as soon as these are done Insha Allah.

Yes physiotherapist can be the solution. Depends upon what is he actually suffering from either it is a muscle spasm or any epilepsy. Get your appointment for further guidance.
