person-avatar

Asking for Self, Male, 29 years old, Karachi

Dear doctors

Please note I got symptoms for covid on 6th June got tested on 9th June which was positive, I isolated myslef and got repeat PCR on 24th June which came negative, since 25th June when I got negative PCR report, I broke isolation but still sometimes I get fever up to 99.5 and sometimes it's normal, also feel weakness and sometimes headache, so I got my antibioties test done yesterday it's non-reactive !! What does this mean now First PCR was positive on 9th June Second PCR came negative on 25th June And now antibodies is non-reactive with igg value of 1.33 (cut-off rate is 1.4)

I am confused, does this mean i am still carrying virus ? Should I go for repeat PCR again ? Or should I isolate myself again ?

Kndly suggest I am worried !!!!

Thank you in advance

Repeat the PCR again. If lt is Negative watch for any symptoms. If your symptoms like fever, breathlessness, chest pain, heaviness on chest etc deteriorate get medical consultation. Also watch for irregular heart beat. It is better to do a chest xray, also check your oxygen saturation levels regularly.
