Asking for Father, Male, 48 years old, Rawalpindi
Hey my father and mother were tested positive for Covid-19 around 2 weeks ago they were in isolation for 14-15 days and then got a retest when almost all of the symptoms were gone but my dad is still positive and mom is negative. is there any chance of my mother to get the infection again? and also that does my father need to isolate for more 14 days now?
Keep isolated for few days
Maintain strict hygiene use all preventive measure till syptoms remains thanks
father should use Mask no need of quo....umay take an appoi..or online appoi..via Marham
If your father is symptom free for 3 or more days and total duration of illness is more than 2 weeks then he can come out of isolation.
As for reinfection, there are case reports of people getting infected again so precautions should still be in order
Ideally Isolation can be finished after 11 days or three days after the last symptom occured.
Take appointment via Marham for detailed answer.
Regards.
If aaymptomatic and complete 10 days no need of further isolation . Reinfection may b possible after 3 months but she need all precaution to prevent other from this virus
