I am having white semi circle along rhe outer edge of the cornea as you can see in the images. My eyesight is -1.75. What could be the possible reasons and what is its cure? thanks
Salam, u need examination... it could be arcus senilis dut to deposition of lipid in the cornea... or it could be something else
Respectfully... Few more questions... For how long it has been there in your eye??is it painful? Do you feel blurred vision even with your glasses??how often do you wear contact lens?This looks due to frequent contact lens use or some type of corneal dystrophy common in every age .I suggest you to use Tears Naturale II eye drops 1 drop 4 times a day for a month.ThanksDr Javeria Nasir !!

I am having this from last 3-4 years. It is not painful and dont feel any pain.
I dont use contact lenses.

I assume you need to use eye drops which I have suggested, and observe this white patch and look for any visual disturbances... in that case you would need OPD examination.

aoa. the white discolouration in itself is not something to worry about but it's appearance at your age is, since this is usually occurring in older age groups. kindly visit an ophthalmologist for further review and examination
Thank you for your mail. How old are you?it may be nothing or you have be having high triglycerides level in blood which needs to be checked. It may also run in the family
