Asking for Father, Male, 54 years old, Lahore

Posting for my father ,aged 54 Is a diabetic patient ( since 20 years ) had a small injury on his feet (heel) , at first it looked normal but after some time , heel bone got swelled with white - yelloish fluid liquid and after checkup from a nearby doctor , he recommended a mini operation to remove the infected area as it can spread on the whole feet so after considering we opted for the operation and doctor removed almost 40 percent of heel and dressed it after cleaning it with piyodine and spirit and prescribed a daily single dose of augmentin 625 mg . I need recommendations from the doctor wether we should stick with this medicine or go for the specialist doctor and is it dangerous ? Or patient can get cured in this situation ?

Heel ulcers take time to heal
some pictures of the wound will be appreciated

Healing is all about daily dressings
I think some high doses of Injectable Antibiotics should be introduced as Augmentin in this condition will not bring speedy recovery
