Salam meri mom ki sirf fasting sugar thori zayda ati hai like 130 to 140 iss liyay vo raat ki dose viptinmet 50/850 kay saath glimepride 1mg leti hain uss say un ki fasting theek ana suroo hu gai hai .....mera question yeh hai kay kia vo glimepride sirf raat ko lay sakti hai kyn kay day main lenay say sugar low hu jati hai aur raat main lenay say sara din bhi theek rehti hai aur low bhi nhi huti kia glimepride sirf raat ki dose kay saath lay sakti hai ya issay subha hi lena huta hai please reply..............................

yes Raat ko bhi Le sakti hain agar sugar low nahi hoti .

Yes it can be taken at night, but you have mention that some time it causes low sugar (hypoglycemia) at day time, so might harm at night too during sleeping time, my opinion is to take at before breakfast and adjust tab viotinment 50/850as after lunch and atfert dinner accordingly.

sir ab raat main low nhi huti before sleep 140 huti hai aur fasting 110 tak ati hai.... low tub huti thi jub 2mg leti thien glimepride ab 1mg leti hai at night uss say fasting theek hu gai hai kia raat main lay sakti ya ya fasting theek karnay kay liyay kuch aur medicine huti hai....

Yes she can take at night, and if it is control fasting with such scheduled at night, then carry on with one mg at night.. No problem..

Glimepride in my experience does not have a long term safety profile. Instead of a sulphonylurea she can take another dose of 500mg Metformin in the morning
