Asking For Self, Female 31, karachi

Assalamo alaikum ..i am 25 week pregnant..on 23rd july i had body ache and dry cough which lasted for 2 days for which i took cough syrup , panadol and fexet . on 25th july i lost my sense of taste and smell and that is the only symptom since then..went for covid rapid antigen test which came out negative and covid pcr the result of which is still pending..my mother and brother were too affected and they came positive..as i was staying with them so considering my self positive too what should i do..have quarantined myself since the day one.. i want to ask having no symptom now just the loss of taste and smell and being positive is it something dangerous for my baby.. should i be worried about my pregnancy?..

Aoa u have to watch your oxygen saturation. If it is below 94%( God forbid) immediately to hospital. Thanks

Gynecologist in Rawalpindi - Dr. Saleha Ibtisam

WAA.just quarantine yourself, just loss of taste and smell is not which is important for baby.get a scan done for your baby wellbeing and if that is ok.fine no issues then.
But fo get vaccination at the earliest. (it is safe in pregnancy).

Check your oxygen saturation and consult your doctor. Will need blood tests to see the severity of infection.
