I had my open surgery for my varicocele on October 1st,2019 the pain and ache got better but my swelling keeps coming back and its causing a lot of discomfort, however this time i have swelling underneath my testicle as i can feel the dilated veins directly below the testicle at the back, does this mean the surgery was a failure as they could have missed veins or is it normal to have these veins left there after the surgery
Sorry to hear that you have recurrence of varicocele. without seeing operative notes it would be difficult to comment on failure of surgery. however if you have Ultrasound scan report before operation then send to me. Repeat another US Scan of scrotum. After comparing both US, I will be in position to comment on failure of surgery or inadequate operation. you can contact me directly via my email: dralmasqazi@gmail.com or via Marham website.
Yes sometimes this happens. But its curable.
salam
if no pain...no worry.go for Doppler scan of sacrotum.this will help to reach some diagnosis..that will help to decide treatment
