Aoa. I was flossing right now and while flossing I removed tartar at the back of my teeth. It was a hard stone like thing.My gum started bleeding. I rinsed it with salt water. Its not bleeding right now but its red. Can you please tell me, what to do ? is it a big problem or not.

it is not a big problem, just use warm salt water gargles and toothbrush 2 times a day after breakfast & before bed. For better analysis please visit a qualified dentist.

WalaikumAsalam. It isn’t a big problem at all. The solution is simple. Just go for the normal scaling treatment so that all your tartar and calculus is removed after which you will feel better and healthier.
Dear concerned it's not about a big or small problem
however it's a matter of attention for sure if the deposits are there for longer they cause a condition or a disease which is called gingivitis n the treatment includes scaling root planning n polishing

Assalam u alaikum.
Its not a problem. The gum will stop bleeding after a few hours if the patient accidentally removes hard calculus (plaque/tartar) that is ATTACHED to the tooth surface. The purpose of scaling is to remove that hard calculus whether it is on the tooth and visible or whether it is on the root of the tooth hidden under the gum.
So I will recommend that you go for ultrasonic scaling and get it done by a specialist periodontist/qualified dentist.
Please forget that scaling will damage your teeth. What actually happens is that the gums start to repair and regenerate AFTER scaling and due to this process the patient feels extra hot or cold sensation. Then some people wrongly conclude that "Oho, yeh saaraa scaling karwanay kee wajah se hooa"
I always prescribe a special toothpaste after I do scaling so that these negative events dont happen and the patient feels comfortable. I also keep a follow up/check up 2 weeks after scaling has been done.
