Talk to Rheumatologist on Joints,Backbone, Muscular Pain
Asking For Father, Male 65, Hyderabd/ Hala
Suffering from Joints,Backbone, Muscular Pain, very hard to walk, labs seem okay, have consulted Neuro Phsycian,Orthopedic but to no avail, doctor s only prescribing pain killers, no permanent solution, i am attaching some lanbs and Xray films & prescriptions, please help out, I am grateful to doctors who have replied on my earlier post. it seems from xray your father has osteoarthritis of the knee joints which can be a reason for difficulty in walking. he may have old age changes in his back bone also if you have his xray spine please attach that too. osteoarthritis can be treated medications, exercises and intraarticular platelet rich plasma in the knee joints. it is very effective.

Reports are showing age related changes of OA. Which is irreversible. We can only manage it the main problem pain and daily activities. For this start calcium supplements maintain his diet. Regular intake of water. 2nd thing is in starting pain killer or muscle relaxant in necessary for betterment but don't be dependent on meds. Start rehabilition.. work on muscle strengthening which will give him long term effect. For this u can consult with any physiotherapist which is nearest to ur home or u can consult online for detailed evaluation and treatment.

please note that medicines like artal and others of NSAID group cause a lot of kidney damage and increase risk of stomach ulcers,at any age, but especially dangerous for above 60 y
