Aoa dr I am suffering from naval pain from 4 to 5 months ultrasound came normal now dr suggested abdomen mri unfortunately I am Claustrophobia patient all lab doing it in closed mri machine , but have to do kindly suggest me which mri machine good for Claustrophobia patient 1.0 Tesla mri or 1.5 tesla mri Siemen ? Which are wide inside and don’t cover whole body , thank you

open. Mri is recommended for claustrophobic patients .1.5 T resolution is better than 1 T .open Mri is installed in some private setups

1 or 1.5 Tesla is the quality of MRI ,it has nothing to do with width of the machine … If u are claustrophobic, do CT abdomen and pelvis with contrast for ur issue . It will surely give your doctor a clue . Take care

Dr I heard ct scan raises not good for organs specially if it’s repeated, I already done 1 ct scan 2 years back for r another issue

Dr no one do abdomen mri in open machine , second dr can any radiology test available for check fallobian tube status it’s open or not or any swelling ? (I am unmarried female showed pelvis inflammation and free fluid in culdesac)
