Salam , can someone share your experience About tuberculosis (T.B) ? Is it easily curable? How long treatmemt will take? Is it happens again and again?
Tuberculosis is curable and the time of treatment depends upon type , area,
Extent , comorbidity, and many other factors of the disease
It is a curable disease, if diagnosed timely and treated appropriately.
it is curable,if treated in time.Sometimes there is need to address other problems related to sequelae of chronic disease
Yes, As mentioned by other Pulmonologists, it is generally curable & standard duration of treatment with 1st line drugs is usually 06 months for TB of Lungs, however sometimes due to many factors treatment type & duration may vary. Its important to establish correct diagnosis, ensure proper selection of medications and above all total compliance with medications as advised by your physician. Remember delay in treatment or noncompliance with the treatment can have deleterious effect on the outcome.
I agree with above

TB in majority cases is curable. Treatment depends on type and condition of the patient. in majority it is 6 to 9 months. If properly treated it should not recur
Ordinary tuberculosis is cured in 6 months if anti tb drugs are taken regularly.
