Asking For Self, Male 33, Raiwind, Lahore
i have bronchites in my lungs as per chest ct scan report: thin wall cavities, reactivation tb and superadded fungal infection, is it recoverable medically or surgically, pls help so that I could take right decision.
Ct report suggest active lower respiratory tract infection so if sputum production is there need to rule out infection bacterial , fungal, tuberculosis.
can be treated medically if infection identified
TB and fungal infections are mostly treatable medically. in some rare cases surgical procedure is required. your Dr will decide about you.
Better you physically consult some Pulmonologist may be in private or government sector. you need examination of your sputum examination for tuberculosis/ AFB/GENE XPERT TEST ETC.
It is very difficult to answer your question without looking at you and your CT scan.
Most of the lung condition are treatable especially bronchiectasis but first of all we need to know the cause of bronchiectasis. In your case it seems like reactivation of tuberculosis. Please come and see me so we can decide what strategies we need to take . Most of the patients can be treated medically
U need to be assessed by a pulmonologist.
Its a treatable disease in expert hands.
Its a complex decision and cannot be taken on an internet advice.
Yes tuberculosis and fungal infection of lungs are both treatable. Your question shows that you have tuberculosis in the past. Do a gene exert test for tuberculosis, sputum AFB/c/s to determine the sensitivity of TB drugs, sputum c/s test for secondary and fungal infection
If Gene expert test is positive, consult with a pulmonologist to start treatment for tuberculosis. Also show your sputum c/s test result to pulmonologist. Meanwhile after giving sputum c/s for examination start following medications. Tablet ciproxin 500mg twice a day, tablet atracon 100 mg once a day, muconyle sashe. If your symptoms are not improving then consult a pulmonologist.
You can also get tuberculosis treatment from gulab devi hospital.
It can be managed. Medically. Surgery is mostly the last option in such cases
It is curable in homeopathy with medicine so need your more symptoms and history to treat your problems
