Asking for Other, Female, 10 years old, Karachi
Aoa, my question is regarding my 10 years old daughter. She got her first Asthma attack at the age of 4 years and despite all the efforts made by Drs. she constantly having episodes of wheezing, SOB, coughing etc.....This year she had many episodes as compare to previous years. We used to nebulize her as per Dr's instructions with Clenil and Attrovent and sometimes with ventolin....she also use inhaler(Back son, Ventolin & Seritide) Now I want to consult with you about her problem...
Asthma is usually a treatable disease n patient symptoms resolve with good medicine and inhalers. As in your case it seems difficult to treat asthma for which there can be many reasons importantly wrong inhaler use technique and non complaince to medcine. Patient needs to be examine for other associated conditions as well which can lead to uncontrolled asthma.
she needs proper examination and medication by a Pulmonologist on constant basis
Well I agree with Dr Tabish
Needs proper evaluation history n examination to establish any proper diagnosis n then obviously treatment
Come to social security hospital ijp road islamabad at 10 am and mention my name at the gate.
Dr tabish advised you in good detail.
Plz see a dedicated dr and discuss all relevant issues. With proper counselling it becomes easier to handle this.
