Hi. Psychiatrists only plz

So I have been taking Leptil 200mg (Sodium Valporate B.P) along with Brintelliex 20mg for depression for 6.months. I feel good now and want to reduce Leptil but my GP is not advising me as this is his own company's medicine. Kindly let me know how to reduce this medicine safely?? woule be highly obliged!

Reduce to half tablet perday, for one month. Than take it every other day. For one month. If symptoms recurring switch to normal dose any time.

Sodium valproate is not antidepressants he might have prescribed for any other diagnosis. Either consult psychiatrist to clarify diagnosis or go to your gp again
