Talk to Psychiatry on Lost Of Balance Due To Anxiety Medications

person-avatar

Asking For Sister, Female 20, Karachi

My sister was prescribed Pinix and rivotril as anti depressant by general physicians who said she was going towards epilepsy due to anxiety/depression on 14 January. Just after an hour of taking it she lost her balance and fell straight. And from then till now she feels dizziness (not sure if thats it) like this and falls every day. Her medications were changed after a week probably. Now she is taking Rivotril and Alprazolam. But the lost of balance is constant. I can't find any such symptoms on internet. Is it normal? Or she should discontinue? She has Anxiety Depression and is suicidal.

Mood disorders with suicidal ideation should not be consulted for online ,take her to your nearest psychiatrist, she should be on a strong antidepressant and may be hospitalised for observation
