Clonazepam is benzodiazipine group and patient may be dependent on it if it is taking for more than 4 weeks but self medication is a risk to be dependent on it, it is indicated fo short period of time and then should be tapper off slowly by the doctor, this medicine is not the proper treatment, it is advised to assess underlying psychiatric disorder and should be treated properly by physician operation medicine and psychotherapy if required thanks

Clonazepam is high potency drug.
If taken one month regularly it causes tolerance and dependence.

Is liye jab ap ya medicine nahi lety to ya sab kuch ap k sath hota ha jis ko hum withdrawal symptoms kehty han.
Ap ko ahista ahista ya medicine kam karni hogi taqreeban one month tak. Aur phir complet band karni hogi.

Try to slowly wean off .what is the indication of use? you can start taking clonazepam 1 mg and alternate with temazepam 5 mg tablet and slowly come off clonazepam then slowly wean off temazepam .if anxiety heightens use meds like citalopram/fluoxetine and consult a clinician
