Healthy diet is very imp for children’s normal growth. Fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, meats, pulses and milk. Sugary and fast foods lack nutrient value. Please try to build healthy eating habits and then growth will get improved. If you need further assistance please set appointment.
dear
your son is too little to have a large amount of food , you have to concentrate up to quality of food , set timings with healthy diet plan , fresh milk is good for him , avoid sweet n toffees , if ur son is active and energetic instead of peevish attitude, it means he is healthy enough , This is not a big issue ,if he is taking little amount of food in several times in a day , increase water intake n fresh juice .
take care
By age two, your child should be eating three healthy meals a day, plus one or two snacks. He or she can eat the same food as the rest of the family. Do not fixate on amounts and do not make mealtimes a battle. Whenever possible, offer your child finger foods instead of soft ones that require a fork or spoon to eat
The following table gives guidelines for how much your toddler should be eating each day.
Grain Group: at least 6 servings each day
1/4 - 1/2 slice of bread
2-3 crackers
1/4- 1/3 cup cooked rice, pasta, or cereal
Fruit and Vegetable Group: at least 5 servings each day
1/4 - 1/3 cup cooked, canned, or chopped raw
1/4 - 1/2 small fruit/vegetable
1/4 - 1/3 cup juice (limit fruit juice intake to no more than 4 ounces per day)
Milk Group: at least 3 servings each day
1/2 cup milk or yogurt
1/2 - 1 ounce of cheese
Meat Group: 2 servings each day
1-2 ounces lean meat, chicken, fish
2-4 tablespoons dry beans and peas
1/2 - 1 egg
Fat Group: 3-4 servings each day
1 teaspoon margarine, butter, oils
