simple water is fine at 18 months of age.
ORS should be given to children who are either loosing water from the body (diarrhoea, vomiting) or not eating and drinking.
Simple plain water is fine for baby if he has no complain of water loss from body like diarrhea vomiting.. aise ors dena theek nahi. It will lead to disturbance in electrolytes..
