My nephew is 1.5 year. Almost form 9-10 months, blisters formed inside mouth, on the tongue and on outside of lips. We have consulted from doctor, he gave DEKATARIN oral gel and NILSTAT. For sometime they vanished but when we stop the medicine it appear again. And child stop eating any thing during this time. Please doctor guide me. Thanks

As your child is young enough, plz stop all kinds of junk foods / fast foods, no sort of commercial drinks & juices and no spicy foods either.
Encourage him to drink a reasonable amount of water.
Milk feeds must be given at regular time intervals.
His sleeping habits should be improved.
Right now focus on 2 main manoeuvers :
* Pure Glycerin 2 & a half parts along with Gentian Violet Solution : 1 & a half part, mix the 2 in stated ratio and apply with a sterilized good quality cotton all over the lips and inside of the mouth at least 2 times a day, 20 minutes before the food for minimum 7 to 9 days.
* Tab. Folic Acid : crush the tab in fine powdered form and divide it in 2 equal parts, 1 part may be dissolved in 1 tablespoon of luke warm water & given once a day for 21 days.
=>Adopt all the necessary precautions and start the prescribed medication and do let me know after a subsequent time interval.
