Talk to Pediatrician on Having Pinworms
Asking for Other, Male, 1.1 years old, Pakistan
My 13months old boy is having pinworms hence he’s in a lit of discomfort. Due to covid I can’t take him to a doctor. Kindly tell the dosage of vermox that can be given to a 13 months old because the leaflet says “below 2 yrs as prescribed by the physician”.

PRECAUTION:-
1 Wash your anal area in the morning to reduce the number of eggs on your body.
2 Shower to prevent possible re-contamination in bathwater.
3 Don’t share towels during treatment and for two weeks after the final treatment.
4 Change underwear and bed linens each day. This helps remove eggs.
5 Wash bedsheets, nightclothes, underwear, washcloths, and towels in hot water to kill pinworm eggs.
6 Dry them on high heat.
7 Don’t scratch your anal area. Trim your child’s nails so there’s less space for eggs to collect. Discourage nail-biting.
8 Wash your hands with soap and water after using the bathroom, changing diapers,

For less than 2 years, give syrup Zentel 5ml once a day only for one day. Repeat after 2 weeks same dose for one day again.
