Talk to Pediatrician on Constipation

Aoa . My son is 1 month old ... he is on breast and formula feed both.. as his tummy didn't get full someone suggested me to give cereal in his feeder along with formula ..but after having this he got the problem o of constipation...like he poops after 1 or 2 days... however I gave him nonehal syrup daily.. what should I do...

WAS. The baby is 1 month or 1 year old??? If the baby is one month old, do not give cereal in feeder. Only start that once she is 6months old. Constipation will settle. If the baby is 1 year, start soft diet and do not rely on milk only. She will feel full as well.
Ws. Donot add cereal. Just give your milk. I hope you are not adding more water to formula milk than suggested
Only milk,no cerelac n nothing before 6months at all,gut is not prepared to digest any solid at this stage.

Nothing can be given to this baby except milk and make formula milk according to recommendations.Milk should not be over diluted. And plz mention after how many hours u r offering milk to ur baby. Is the baby sleeping comfortably ,for how long and among the two feedings which one is providing prolonged sleep.

Well I give him formula milk 4 times a day... 90 ml per feed... and in between I give him breastfeed as per demand.... and he gets prolonged sleep from formula feed..
