Talk to Pediatrician on Baby Scalp

person-avatar

Asking For Self, Female, 31 Years old, Islamabad

My baby boy who’s 4.5 months old is having some scalp issue (I’m attaching the pictures) it’s been a month now I’m trying to oil his scalp because I thought it’s dryness and would go away after oiling but it’s not getting any better. Kindly let me know what it is and what should be the remedy for it or any medication? It’s just in the middle and rest of the head is fine.

It seems to be seborrheic dermatitis. Dont worry its a mild condition. You can try using antifungal scalp lotion like conaz. It can be used as a shampoo. Hopefully it will be gone soon.

This is Cradle Cap (Infantile Seborrhoeic Dermatitis). Keep managing as you are already. Will get better by 1 year of age.
