Talk to Pediatrician on Abcess After Vaccination
Asking For Sister, Female 23, karachi
my nephew 53days old reacted to vaccination given on 7th June at 6 weeks. an abcess is formed on his left thigh. which drained spontaneously today . no historyof fever except initial 2 days of vaccine weight is 5.5kg exclusively on mf not on any medication . kindly guide attaching picture

If the abscess has drained fully, then there is nothing further to do but I still recommend to get a consultation in person to make sure it has completely drained. You will also have to give syrup Amoxil for 7 days. Kindly share weight of the baby so that I can tell you the dose.
