Talk to Pediatric Neuro physician on Shaken Baby Syndrome
Asking for Other, Female, 0.2 years old, Lahore
I have 2 months old daughter and one day she was crying like whole day so I shook her a very little that her head barely even move and said why aren't you sleeping. Then somewhere I read about shaken baby syndrome and got scared that what if her brain got injured. Can you please tell me the severity of shake that can cause shaken baby syndrome and any signs that can help us diagnose it?

Baby's brain is very delicate,thats y even a little shake can cause it,no one can tell the intensity of shaking leading to this syndrome .However ,there are some signs like vomiting,excessive crying and fits, if something like this happens,consult child neurologist

Does vomiting and excessive crying continues or happens just that day?
It happened 3 weeks ago, she is acting very normal no vomiting or excessive crying.
