Asking for Self, Female, 22 years old, North Nazimabad

AoA. Doctor i need to ask i am 22 years old and my height is 5.1-5.2 and my weight is only 37. I take proper meal like 2 rotis and chawal and eat fruits also as i like to eat fruits very much. I am concerned about my weight because everyone is saying you might have problem conceiving your baby because of your weight as i am married. And one more thing can it could be because of family heridity as in my family my mom was also not that much healthy as her weight was also 40-43 when he was at my age.. Can any doctor suggest me what to do and what should i start eating to gain weight ? PS: I have taken ensure milk i have finished 3-4 cans of that milk too but no change.

Yes u r under weight as ur BMI is only 15 which is severe under weight.. And yes it could be a reason for a problem in conceiving.. Of course it might be heritable.....
Dates contain much amount of sugar and has large amount of calories. Take high calorie foods but healthy foods... So best choices are :
1. Dates ( 2 or 3) at a time.
2. Banana shake ( add honey instead of sugar).
3. Mangoes also increases weight.
4. Take full cream milk.
5. Ensure is a good option.. Continue taking
It.
6. Avoid chicken as it looses weight... Add
mutton and beef to ur diet... But don't
take too much beef.
7. Start eating one paratha every day made
With desi ghee.
Remember one thing eating is not bad but eating bad is bad.. Watch on ur choices.. Take good calories as they will increase ur weight in a good way.. Bad caloric food will encounter u to other problems..
I have suggested u the foods.. You can also ask for a proper diet plan.

No u can't eat foods during pregnancy in a very large amount which are hot in nature. U can eat dates but only 1 or 2 in a day but not daily.... Skip 1 day

Bananas are very good to increase weight and have no problem in taking during pregnancy... Yes u can start 2 date shake in sehri... But don't add sugar.. If u need more sweet taste add honey instead... Otherwise avoid both... Make sure u have at least 1 hour of gap between drinking shake and sleep
