Respected dr ! My friend suffering with kidney stone for last 8years approx..He relief from pain with pain killers ..at now stone size 1.25cm .. what should he do either operate or lithotripsy..which one is best ?

Stones are of different types and the trestment is according to type and site of stone. 1.25cm stone is not very big so if there is not obstruction i.e; swelling of kidney then there are chances that it can resolve with medical treatment. i will require an ulrasound report and an xray-KUB (Fasting with stone protocol) to guide you further.
