Asking For Mother, Female 70, PESHAWAR

My mother is a diabetic and high blood pressure patient since very long. Her recent test reports are not encouraging, following are the details

Serum Creatinine 1.4mg/dL (few months ago, it was 1.1)

Serum Electrolytes Potassium 6.9 mmoL/L (about 8 months ago, it was 5.3)

Visible hemolysis is not grossly evident but minimal hemolysis cannot be excluded

Urine R/E Protein '++' Pathologist Comments: Mucus threads are active

Blood complete picture comments Leukocytosis. Normocytic Normochtomic Anemia.

Her HbA1C usually comes arround 7 or max 8 after every 5 to 6 months!

Looking forward for diet plan of low pattasium and proteins. Also, if someone recommends a good Nephrologist in Peshawar only. Thanks in advance.

Met with Nephrologist a month ago. He prescribed to use keyexalte powder for 2 days only and it has certainly dropped the potassium level to 4.9 now (A re test done just after using powder)

Changed Advant to Advantec and changed Sofvasc to Adalat LA 30.
