Swelling On Both Foot With Red Dots Like Blood

My aunt is facing problem of swollen foot off and on since 10 months.but now it get worsed as when foot swellow small red dots on under skin of foot also appear .it seems like blood vessels have leakage. She is pre diabetics. What should she do.her rft is normal.but ultrasound of kidney show simple cyst .

I am sorry to know about your aunt’s problem. There are many causes for swelling of both the feet. In order to know the exact cause can you answer me few questions?
1. Is it in both the feet or only one foot?
2. To what extent? Till ankles or till knees?
3. What makes this swelling worse like sitting or hanging the feet over bed?
4. Does it make a pit/depression when you press it with your finger?

These are few basic questions to know roughly that what can be the cause to it.
We need to carry out few tests (once the answers to question) are know in order to ascertain the cause and then treat it

Till that time you can ask your aunt to avoid sitting for long and keep her legs raised by a pillow while asleep.
For prediabetes please follow the diabetic diet and regular walk. And you should get her blood sugars checked
