My husband having a lump under the chin since 5 month lump is size of peas We check to ent he said nothing to worry just wash it with Luke warm water daily now I want us suggestions

The most common cause of a lump under the chin is enlarged lymph gland (lymph node). Size and gradual or rapid increase in the size is something to be worried about. It can be due to numerous causes like infections, sore throat etc to name a few
But before ascertaining the cause I would like to have an answer to few questions
Does he have lump in any other part of body like armpits, groins?
Is it painful?
Is it increasing in size?
Is it hard like a stone or soft?
Does your husband feel fever, night sweats, weight loss, loss of appetite?
Any near one ever had tuberculosis?
What tests you had so far?
For now you can have few tests like
Blood complete picture
ESR
CRP
LDH
USG neck and chin
