Cretanine test is 1.5 . Her physician prescribed Lasix 20mg .Kindly guide what to do ?? Can v do ultrasound because few months before there was sludge in kidney for which she used medicines .

The most common cause of Drowsiness in diabetics is infection and mostly it is chest , urine or skin infections .you need to maintain her normal blood sugar and get her Urine R/E with C/S along with CXR will help you in diagnosing the infection . Another cause of drowsiness in diabetics is the use of Neuropathic pain killers like Pregabin , Duloxetin and Gabapentin . You also have to look into . The most common cause of swelling of feet in DM is Nephropathy, in which the patient loses protein in urine so Urinary protein to Creatinine ration would help us in diagnosing that along with her Renal function tests . You did not mention the if there is any history of hypertension or heart disease . But it’s best to get her examined by a specialist in internal medicine who is a multi organ specialist and get her few more test done. Regards

bitter test may be due to drug macrobac and for diabetes complications kindly visit the consultant for proper assessment of problems then one can advise you proper treatment..Take care of your parents
