Talk to Hematologist on High Uric Acid

I had my uric acid tested 2 years ago,it was around 5.7 at that time,also my cholesterol was 225, I made changes in my eating habits and reduced cholesterol naturally,without using any medicine, but my uric acid is not getting lower. Its genetic, my mother has this issue as well, she gets pains whenever her weight increases a kg or 2. My weight is 47 and height is 5 feet, age 26. please guide me how to deal with this with fewer medicines and most probably with dietary changes.
