Asking For Someone else, Other, Female, 63 Years old, Islamabad
Hi, my mother in law who is 63 is having periods like bleeding from last few days ( after almost 15 years of menopause) we got her ultrasound done(report is attached). I just want to know is this report normal?I hope nothing is serious.
your mother in law needs to be evaluated and tested. unfortunately the ultrasound report shows some alarming features, that need further imaging like CT scan along with endometrial biopsy.
PLEASE CONSULT A NEAR BY GOOD GYNAECOLOGIST.
Aoa postmenopausal bleeding is always alarming. Should be immediately investigated. Thanks
Aoa
MRI is advised...Post menopausal bleeding is never normal...is she taking any blood thinning medicine etc?...even then do her MRI...

at her age, bleeding is a considered a concerning symptom. which need evaluation. also of the fibroid were previously present ( if you have old ultrasounds) then they aren't an issue. but not newly formed fibroids
